papua
In Papua New Guinea, hundreds of Christians meet at even the tiniest church and many of the people walk for hours to even get to a service. The country itself
lies south of the equator and just north of Australia. It's the last of a string of islands spilling down from Southeast Asia into the Pacific, and compromises the eastern half of the island of New Guinea and a collection of surrounding islands. Because of the numerous languages and dialects, some areas have never heard the Gospel.

The Christians of Papua New Guinea love to gather together for worship. Despite their language barriers and other challenges, they are gracious hosts to everyone. Their music plays a vital role in their services and their worship comes alive as they lift their hands and praise God. Evangelical Faith Ministries missionaries Mike and Barbara Howell work tirelessly to spread the message of Christ in Papua New Guinea. We look forward to continuing our support of their nationwide outreach!
